Richard Wagamese, Ojibwe, was a Canadian author and journalist from the Wabaseemoong Independent Nations in Northwestern Ontario. He published over fifteen books, some of them posthumously. The foreword is by Waubgeshig Rice an author and journalist from Wasauksing First Nation on Georgian Bay.
